BKRLCC will be offering a six week online Kunwinjku language course in Bangkerreng 2026 (March-April), beginning around 1 March. To enrol in this course, please enter your details and pay below.

The course will be delivered fully online and is designed for complete beginners.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to engage in simple conversations with Bininj, with a strong focus on family connections. Each topic includes cultural information, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading and activities.

Course materials are online in a series of weekly units designed by linguists with teaching qualifications, in collaboration with native speaking language specialists with many years of teaching experience. Each week two live Zoom tutorials are offered with Kunwinjku native speakers. These are usually offered at 5:00 - 6:00pm NT time on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The Kunwinjku language course uses Google Classroom. To save headaches later, please enter the email you use for Google services (i.e. if you were going to log into YouTube, Gmail, or an Android phone, which email address would you use?).
