Ingrid Johanson

Ingrid has lived and worked in the Northern Territory with remote Aboriginal communities for the last decade, in the central desert as well as Arnhem Land. From 2016 – 2020, Ingrid managed the Bábbarra Women’s Centre in Maningrida, a women's social enterprise with over 25 women from 12 language groups. Currently Ingrid works as independent consultant for various NT Community Development and Aboriginal Arts organisations, engaging with language speakers for BKRLCC on various projects around language documentation, resource production and business development. Ingrid has an academic background in International Development and Human Rights Law, and speaks French, German, elementary Spanish and is improving her Kuninjku- yalmo yalmo!
